Since it only allowed 250 characters, I thought I'd share this dream from a couple of months ago with you all in the discussion forum, where there's room for plenty of characters.
I was driving a car, w/my dad in the passenger seat, through a flooded city street with people suffering all around us, kind of like Hades. Soon we are driving upwards, on what seems to be a suspension bridge. But at the peak, we can go left where the sun hangs low at sunset, or right, which is dark as could be. Instead we go straight, falling forward off the 'bridge' and back around to the right of the ramp through the flooded street to repeat the process all over again. ------ As far as interpretation is concerned, I have a few ideas, like choice between left and right, with left being idealistic and spiritual, and the right being material darkness. Of course, we (I) choose neither, and decide to return to the bottom of the ramp to try again. Also, since the sunset, it means that the ramp faces north, emphasizing the virtue of this upward trajectory. (Philosophy? Technology?) But being unable to continue upward, shows that this should not be some ivory tower, but inclusive of all people, beings. [note] Will find the date to this dream and add it to the post [/] Edited by Sylvain Malfroy on Jul 9, 2010 2:17 PM |
