Carl Jung, founder of analytical psychology (Jungian psychology), has contributed much to our understanding of the human psyche, spirituality, and dreams. He is most noted for the concepts of psychological archetypes, the collective unconscious, synchronicity, and the process of individuation. His secret diary, called the Red Book, was just published in its entirety in October. In it he records his visions and dialogs with the celestial beings and the creatures of his unconscious mind.
