Flying dreams can be very fun.

In my flying dreams I am usually either flying like superman by the intention of my will or I am floating like I am weightless and I can push myself off of surfaces. Once I was swimming through the air like I was swimming under water.

How about you other dreamers out there. Who has had flying dreams? How did you move through the air? Did you ever fly through the air on the back of an animal or mythical creature?

I had flying dreams pretty much nightly in my pre-teen years. They were always the same; I would be standing on a large, round rock out-cropping near my home. Like you, I would will myself to leave the ground. I think about it often... It's not so interesting to me that I could fly, but the act of willing myself into the air always intrigued me. It wasn't as if I could just hop into the air, I had to really concentrate. I never flew like Superman, it was always more like weightless space, with the ability to change direction at will, but I only remember ever moving at moderate speeds. I don't remember ever being the passenger of anything non-mechanical...
