Boston Dreamers is a participatory Meetup group. We want to know what dream-related subjects you would like to see covered. If you have a particular expertise related to dreams or if you have a particular burning passion to lead or co-lead a dream-related Meetup event please contact us. We are actively seeking topic suggestions, speakers, and presenters.

I want a meeting about devas, fairies, extraterrestrials, and angels, and how they can contact us in altered states including dreams and shamanic journeys. Anyone know an expert for this topic? If there isn't an expert, I know enough to help co-lead it with anyone else who's had some experience with these otherworldly beings.
Ha ha, I just realized how far out this sounds. But it's very practical stuff after all. :) thanks, Carl |

Hi All,
If you want to lead a meeting on a dream-related subject and you are not available on Tuesdays, there are other spaces we could meet in on other days. Just let me know what days of the week you are available and I will check on the availability of alternative spaces. Thanks, Deerheart On Thursday, November 5, 2009, at 02:29 PM, Carl S. wrote: Hi Allen, This sounds excellent, thank you for offering this for a meeting! What month next year would you like to do this? Second tuesday, unless there's a schedule conflict forcing a different Tuesday. You can email Deerheart further from the website and he'll cc me. Anyone else ideas/offers for meetings? regards, Carl --------- Original Message -------- From: BostonDreamers-list@meetup.com To: "BostonDreamers-list@meetup.com" Subject: Re: [BostonDreamers] Seeking Dream Meetup Ideas Date: 11/05/09 06:31 AM" Well I'm no expert, but I am trained as a shamanic practitioner and have had positive results using drumming/journeying to "revisit" dreams. It might make an interesting evening to have people bring their dream journals and choose a particular dream they maybe felt wasn't completed. I could ofer a brief overview of shamanic culture and practices, and then we could use shamanic techniques to let people re-enter those dreams and walk further along the path ... see how they develop. How many powerful dreams have we had that were interrupted by an alarm clock, or the cat wanting to be let out at 5AM and sitting on your chest, or your partner's snoring like a freight train! It is possible to go back and revisit them. -Allen Edited by Deerheart on Nov 11, 2009 11:43 PM |
